In most cases, the setting changes you make apply only to the input you are using, antenna TV, and each separate HDMI input. The AV inputs have their own settings that the TV remembers when you return to those inputs.
Additionally, the TV also remembers the settings that you specify while viewing streaming content. Tip : You don't have to go to the settings menu first -- you can display an input's option's menu and adjust its settings whenever you are watching the input by pressing.
Tip : When you highlight a setting, the header text explains the effect of its current value. When you begin to adjust a setting, the other options are hidden so you can see more of the screen. Even though the other settings are hidden, you can move the highlight up or down to adjust the other settings. Tip : To dismiss the options menu, just wait a few seconds without pressing any buttons.

The models we've tested are only available in North America. Models released in other regions are completely different, and we don't know how they compare.
It can produce deep, inky blacks thanks to its outstanding contrast ratio and black uniformity, and it has a local dimming feature that performs quite well, with very little blooming. Unfortunately, there's some dirty screen effect that can be distracting, especially when watching sports, and the TV has poor viewing angles, but that's to be expected of most VA panels.
Input lag is exceptionally low for those who want to game on this TV; however, it doesn't support any variable refresh rate technology. Last but not least, Roku's interface is user-friendly, and the app store is likely to have almost everything that you need. Its contrast ratio and black uniformity are both outstanding, but it doesn't have a local dimming feature and can't get as bright. Unfortunately, like most VA panels, viewing angles are quite poor, and out-of-the-box color accuracy is disappointing as well.
On the bright side, response time and input lag are exceptionally low for a smooth and responsive gaming experience. Just like other TCL TVs, it runs on Roku, which is easy to use and has a great selection of streaming apps, but you'll have to put up with some ads and suggested content on the home screen. It can't get too bright, so you're better off placing it in a dim or averagely-lit room like a garage.

They have a huge selection of apps, known as streaming channels, covering the vast majority of the common streaming services. Although the interface has remained relatively unchanged over recent years, TCL releases frequent updates and has added some new features recently, even to older models.
The interface is very basic, with simple graphics and limited animations. This results in a very easy to use, fast interface that is relatively bug-free. It's also one of the few smart interfaces that supports themes, so you can customize it a bit. The ads generally promote other TCL products or services and sometimes contain suggested content.
The Roku Channel Store is where you'll find all the apps available on Roku, and there are quite a lot of them. Some TCL TVs support voice controls, either from the advanced remote or the remote app, but they only support basic commands. Through voice control, you can launch certain apps, as well as search across multiple apps for content.
Unlike some TVs, you can't control the TV's settings through the voice controls.Due to the recent developments with the COVID virus, we have implemented strict measures to protect the community at large and our employees alike.

It delivers decent picture quality and displays deep blacks in a dark room thanks to its high native contrast ratio.
It can't get very bright, and although it has good reflection handling it isn't suitable for a bright room. It lacks a wide color gamut, and due to its low HDR peak brightness, it can't deliver HDR content with vivid colors and bright highlights. The response time is fast and the TV displays fast-moving content with very little blur trail. It offers a responsive gaming performance thanks to the low input lag but unfortunately, it lacks any support for advanced gaming features like FreeSync.
The text has been updated, but our overall findings haven't changed. It has a decent picture quality but can't get very bright, so it's more suitable for dim rooms. It has decent motion handling and a fast response time that leaves only a small blur trail behind fast-moving objects. It has a very low input lag, and it's very responsive, suitable for gaming or use as a PC monitor. It delivers deep blacks in a dark room but lacks a local dimming feature, and the black uniformity is just decent.
There is no motion interpolation feature and unfortunately, the TV can't remove 24p judder from all sources. On the upside, upscaling p content like from Blu-rays is excellent.

You'll enjoy your TV shows more if you sit straight in front, as the image loses accuracy when viewed from the side. It has decent gray uniformity and the Roku TV smart interface gives you access to a large number of streaming channels.
It has a fast response time, so fast-moving content has only a small blur trail. It can handle reflections well, but it can't get bright enough for a bright room. Unfortunately, the viewing angles are poor, and if you're watching a game with a group of friends, those watching from the side won't enjoy the same accurate image as those sitting directly in front. Finally, some sports fans might be bothered by the amount of dirty screen effect this TV has.
This is an impressive TV for playing video games. The input lag is very low and you'll enjoy a responsive gaming experience, while the response time is very fast and delivers crisp motion. Unfortunately, there's no support for any advanced gaming features like FreeSync that more serious gamers are usually looking for, but there's an auto low latency mode that is great for casual gaming.
It delivers deep and fairly uniform blacks in a dark room where HDR is meant to be watched, but there's no local dimming support to improve performance. When in HDR, the peak brightness is low and since the TV can't display a wide color gamut either, HDR content doesn't have the vivid colors and the bright highlights as it's supposed to.
This is mainly due to the very low input lag that makes it very responsive, and the fast response time that leaves only a small blur trail behind fast-moving content.

I am so happy I fixed this, I was about to sell it and get something else honestly there is nothing more to it then that took about 1 minute to set it all up then LGNPST did all the work, very simple, I just don't know why no one else on Google could figure this out or at least post a guide to it if they did, feel free to make a post in the development section, can't wait for mtmichaelson to see this and fix his phone too!
I tried to flash v4 or v6, but after that it doesn't boot. I found that fix out also, but I would like to know how to ax test mode without haveing to roll back to Froyo. Because, correct me if I'm wrong, but won't flashing the v7 tot file again just create the test mode issues all over again?
Today I ended up doing a full factory reset, flashed clean V7 tot, then the V8 tot and re-rooted, and finally installed the new breakout rom and I'm still in test mode Well I'm just guessing here so bear with me AFAIK the cause is flashing in emergency download mode, which is something outside of the normal system, and also outside of the recovery partition.
Based on that and the previous post I'd guess it set a test mode flag somewhere on another partition that gets "checked" at boot. I figure we ought to be able to get images of all the partitions with dd but I wouldn't know what to do with that data once I had it Maybe compare with a non-test-mode phone and look for inconsistancies.
I could be totally wrong though I'm not very familiar with the boot process and that sort of thing. That stuff is a bit over my head though. XDA Developers was founded by developers, for developers.

Whenever there is some problem in line or internect connectivity goes off and then comes back I have to reboot the router manually. On reboot, router goes into self test mode Power led orange, internet led orange and remains in that state for at least 2 hours before coming alive. It might be possible that the router is starting to degrade. That self test cannot be interrupted nor adjusted. You may try to reset the unit and see if it will help clear it up. But if it doesn't then perhaps it's time to get a new router.
